A native of Los Angeles, Gabby Navarrete has been enamored with film, television and the art of beauty all her life. Since 2008 she has been steadily growing her portfolio of work in the world of special effects, character and beauty make-up. A member of Local 706 since 2020 she has had the opportunity to work on increasingly bigger and more exciting projects to hone her skills. From music videos with Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat, television series like Gentefied (Netflix) The Book of Boba Fett (Disney+) Star Trek: Picard (Paramount+) and films including Babylon (2022), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), and Godzilla Vs. Kong 2 (2024) Gabby’s talent, skill and professionalism have been an asset to those she works with. As Gabby progresses in her career she hopes to work with the likes of Taika Waititi, Wes Anderson and Guillermo del Toro doing fantasy creature and character make-up.
